Jeff Ibbo (DK)
This week’s graphic artist, Jeff Ibbo (1941), is using various media in his art; among them are drawings, watercolor, oil paintings and ceramic sculptures. Artistically he is especially interested in the naked human being, where he interprets and uses a human model as an abstract landscape. When working Ibbo mainly gets inspired and influenced by the individual model. Simplicity is one of the characteristics in Ibbo’s artworks together with his specific use of colors and lines. Furthermore he has, as something unusual, been drawing with both hands since 1982 and has also experimented with painting with both hands.
