Karmen Kraft (DE)

Karmen Kraft was born in Spain and currently resides and works in Berlin. She works with painting and drawing as well as print techniques. The art presented in Fresh Legs 2018 stems from her series of works, RAÍCES. These works are the result of Kraft’s trip to Peru, where the artist was confronted with the recent floods in the country and their impact on people’s lives.The concept of roots is the basis of what the artist intends to explore with her artworks, delving into her Andean heritage and her sense of self, while searching for her inner child.
