Torben Bohse (DK)
Torben Bohse is a Danish Postwar painter who was born in 1941. Vivid colors conform his usually surrealist and powerful compositions. He experiments with printing techniques such as lithography. Bohse’s expressive works can contain female portraits and zoomorphic and fantastical creatures. Placed in undefined spaces, these playful characters seem to be extracted from a dream or an illusion – an honest, childish and naive illusion.
