Per Teljer (SE)
Beside his videos Per Teljer works primarily with black and white charcoal/acrylic drawings on small sheets of paper, presenting shocking and unorthodox images in a cartoon-like manner. His direct way of communicating questions the credibility and cruelty hidden under the mask of our contemporary society.

Teljer & Hjort (SE/NOR)
The black and white video “MAMMA”, a co-production by Teljer & Hjort, immerses the viewer in an emotional journey through intimate close-ups. Despite the static backdrop, the expressive facial expressions of Hjort convey an intensity that is almost unbearable.
The lead actor is able to impressively convey a deep longing for love and security, which is embodied in this universal-sounding, cross-age and cross-cultural term “MAMMA”. This penetrating exploration of emotions offers a captivating but occasionally confrontational viewing experience that encourages introspection and a confrontation with one’s own emotional depths. In addition to his film work, Teljer is also a painter. Hjort is his friend and a Norwegian actor.
